Job Summary
Advanced Electrical Assembly Technician IV - Hillsboro, OR. The technician performs advanced electronic and electro‑mechanical assembly in a high‑mix semiconductor manufacturing environment, ensuring high‑quality and precise production output.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Assemble mechanical and electro‑mechanical assemblies and subassemblies
- Perform advanced wiring, cable routing, soldering, and component installation
- Read and interpret work instructions, assembly prints, and electrical schematics
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and bench equipment to complete builds
- Perform standard testing and troubleshooting on assemblies and subassemblies
- Identify and resolve assembly issues, escalating complex problems as needed
- Ensure quality standards are met throughout all stages of the assembly process
- Maintain accurate build documentation and production records
- Collaborate with team members, leads, and engineering to support production goals
- Support process improvements and continuous improvement initiatives
- Follow 5S, safety, and visual management standards
- Perform other duties as required

Knowledge,Skills and Abilities
- Proficient in advanced assembly and troubleshooting of electro‑mechanical systems
- Ability to read and interpret assembly prints, electrical schematics, and blueprints
- Strong working knowledge of cable routing and harnessing; wiring, soldering, and crimping standards
- Experience using hand tools, power tools, and assembly equipment
- Understanding of quality standards and inspection practices
- Basic GD&T knowledge preferred
- Strong attention to detail and quality focus
- Effective communication skills in a team environment
- Working knowledge of MRP systems and production documentation tools
- High School Diploma or equivalent experience
- Some technician coursework and/or AA technical degree or equivalent experience
- 4+ years of experience in manufacturing, cleanroom, or electro‑mechanical/electrical assembly environment
- Experience with wiring, cable routing, and troubleshooting preferred
- Experience with testing, inspection, or leak testing is a plus

Ability to stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, walk, push, pull and grasp; lift up to 25 lbs; lift over 25 lbs with assistance; move arms, hands and fingers; wear personal protective equipment; frequent interruptions; stand/sit for sustained periods of time; talk on phone and use computer for extended periods may be required. - Environmental Exposure:
Subject to hazards including electrical current, moving mechanical parts, exposure to chemicals and debris; subject to noise levels. - Overnight Travel:
May require out of town travel depending upon assignment (training and meeting).
