CompensationThe base hourly rate for this position is $22.27.

Schedule4-5 days a week, must be able to work OT.
Pay$19.50/hour for first 90 days
Position OverviewThis position is responsible for communicating and supporting JM core values and delivering the JM experience.
The entry level position supports the core team by conducting the following activities: hands stacking product, cutting feet material, sampling product, move materials by hand, use a forklift, empty trash carts, conduct clean-up activities, complete preventative maintenance work tasks, assist with start-ups, monitor production line and begin to learn other key positions (i.e., Level 2-4), understand finished product specifications. All roles in the plant are cross functional and are part of the pay for skills program.
Responsibilities- Follow the Job Safety Analysis, use safe work practices, and always report hazardous conditions.
- Wear protective clothing and equipment as required.
- Always keep equipment and work area clean and orderly.
- Perform Housekeeping activities within work area.
- Operate a Forklift and be Forklift certified.
- Check-off on Daily Fork-lift Check Sheet.
- Knowledgeable on Lock-Out/Tag-Out (LOTO) Oven and Pallet Conveyor.
- Apply proper product label to the pallets. Follow standard labeling procedures.
- Ability to identify the different Products produced.
- Ability to read and identify the different Tapes for all the Products.
- Know the warehouse location for product storage.
- Full understanding of the JSA’s that apply to the job task being assigned to.
- Full understanding of the Operating Procedures that apply to the job task being assigned to.
- Unload and move material in a safe manner throughout the plant. Follow safe lifting practices.
- Follow and complete all safety requirements (Pure Safety/Monthly Safety Actions).
- Take an active part in the Daily Safety Huddles.
- Accurately and consistently swipe at scheduled times (timekeeping).
- There are no supervisory responsibilities for direct reports for this position.
- At least one year working in a warehouse/production environment.
- Must be able to accurately read a tape measure, work instruction, finished product specifications.
- Have general math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, fractions and percentages).
- Beginner to intermediate computer skills (Microsoft office).
- Solid Communication Skills (written/verbal).
- Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Understand Root Cause Corrective Action Process

- The ability to stand for extended periods
- The ability to manually lift, push or pull at least 50 pounds safely and with proper body mechanics, sometimes while in awkward positions.

- The ability to safely and effectively work in an often-dusty work environment that experiences a broad range of temperatures (very hot to very cold).
