Day: 6:00 am - 2:30 pm (Starting Rate: $18.00-$19.80 depending on shift)

Gear Up is seeking production team members who are eager to learn and work in a collaborative environment to meet production goals while adhering to high-quality standards. Team members will be cross‑trained in multiple facets of the production process including pre‑production picking & filtering tasks, heat pressing garments, and/or quality checking and shipping orders.

Primary Roles
  • Pre‑Production/Filtering – Sorting and picking artwork (logos, numbers, etc.) and verifying that art and garment SKUs match order paperwork.
  • Pressing – Interpreting order paperwork, positioning art, names, and numbers on garments, operating textile heat presses.
  • QC/Shipping – Verifying that the finished product matches customer orders, packaging and preparing orders for shipment, and interacting with our shipping software.
  • Additional duties as assigned.
Available Shifts
  • Day: 6:00 am - 2:30 pm
  • Swing: 2:30 pm - 11:00 pm (10% shift differential)
  • Overtime will be required during peak production seasons, including possible Saturday shifts.

This seasonal role is expected to go through late November to December and may be extended to March. There is also a possibility to convert this seasonal role into a full‑time role.

Requirements
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to read and interpret sales orders and other written instructions.
  • Ability to understand written and verbal instructions in English.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Energetic and motivated.
  • Ability to learn and use computer systems to input and verify information.
  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Experience using Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Word, Excel) and MRP systems a plus.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to kneel, squat, bend, and lift up to 40 pounds.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
  • Ability to walk throughout the production floor.
  • Ability to reach and grab totes stored overhead.
  • Ability to see and distinguish colors.
