Role and Impact- Architect end‑to‑end system software for a specific technology, product/platform, or market segment, including software structure, firmware, drivers, frameworks, cross‑component interfaces, protocols, algorithms, and applications.
- Provide technical direction for software development and validation, pathfinding, and prioritization.
- Engage customers on technical requirements and discussions.
- Interact with technologists across Intel and the industry to evaluate feasibility of requirements.
- Determine priorities for development.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field with a minimum of 12+ years equivalent experience.
- 8+ years of experience in platform, computer, software architecture or engineering.
- 5+ years of expertise and credibility in manageability expertise across standards organizations such as DMTF and OCP.
- 5+ years of experience participating and guiding work in industry standards communities, preferably in leadership roles.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Business‑to‑business engagement, particularly with C‑level executives and senior technologists across industry.
- Board of Directors and/or leadership experience in industry consortiums.
- Credibility to be appointed to leadership and strategic roles within manageability standards organizations and consortiums.
- Deep knowledge of multiple manageability standards and how they interact (e.g., Redfish, Swordfish, SPDM, PLDM).
- Ability to participate in standards working group meetings held in the North America time zone.
- Moderate travel required domestically and internationally.
