Material Handler
- Reach Truck Operator (Day Shift)

Material Handler
- Reach Truck Operator Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a reach truck/forklift throughout the shift
- Unload incoming trucks and verify materials received
- Move raw materials and finished goods throughout the facility
- Load materials onto production machinery to support manufacturing operations
- Supply machines with materials to maintain production flow
- Assist machine operators and production teams as needed
- Follow all safety, quality, and inventory control procedures
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
What to Expect:
Material Handlers rotate between Receiving and Machine Support functions.
Receiving Duties
- Unload incoming trucks using a forklift
- Work efficiently to unload shipments within required timelines
- Truck volume can vary from 1-2 trucks per day to as many as 8 trucks per day
- During slower receiving periods, assist production operations on the manufacturing floor
Machine Support Duties
- Load materials onto production equipment
- Keep machines supplied with materials throughout production runs
- Spend the majority of the shift operating a forklift to support machine operations
Material Handlers typically begin training in the receiving department and progress to machine support responsibilities after demonstrating proficiency and safe equipment operation.
Material Handler
- Reach Truck Operator Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of recent full-time forklift/reach truck experience
- Previous experience in a manufacturing, warehouse, or production environment preferred
- Proven ability to safely operate forklifts for the majority of a work shift
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs with or without accommodation
- Comfortable standing, walking, and working in a fast-paced environment throughout the shift
- Strong attention to safety and detail
- Reliable attendance and transportation required
Schedule:
Day Shift
- Monday: 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM
- Tuesday: 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM
- Wednesday: 5:00 AM - 2:30 PM
- Thursday: 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM
- Friday: 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM
Pay:
$20.00/hr
