- Provide specialized nursing care in a rural emergency department setting.
- Must be SANE trained with a valid Wisconsin nursing license; SANE certification desired but not required.
Join Emplify Health by Gundersen Hillsboro as a Casual SANE RN in our Emergency Department, where your expertise in sexual assault nursing care will make a profound difference in the lives of patients during critical moments. As part of a compassionate, mission-driven team, you will provide empathetic, patient-centered care in a supportive rural hospital environment. This role offers the flexibility of casual scheduling while allowing you to contribute to our commitment to “empathy amplified” and community health.
Key responsibilities- Deliver specialized sexual assault nursing care to patients in the emergency department.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient support and follow-up.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care and forensic evidence collection.
- Participate in ongoing training and quality improvement initiatives related to SANE services.
- Provide compassionate emotional support to patients and families during sensitive situations.
- Valid Wisconsin nursing license.
- SANE training required; SANE certification is desired but not mandatory.
- Experience in emergency nursing or related clinical settings preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to support patients and collaborate with team members.
- Ability to work independently and adapt to a flexible, on‑call schedule.
