Casual SANE RN – Emergency Department

Join Emplify Health by Gundersen Hillsboro as a Casual Sexual Assault Nurse Examinator (SANE) in our rural emergency department. In this role you will provide specialized nursing care to sexual assault patients, ensuring accurate forensic evidence collection, compassionate support, and seamless collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.

• Deliver specialized sexual assault nursing care in the emergency department.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient support and follow‑up.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care and forensic evidence collection.
• Participate in ongoing training and quality improvement initiatives related to SANE services.
• Provide compassionate emotional support to patients and families during sensitive situations.

• Valid Wisconsin nursing license.
• SANE‑training required; SANE certification desired but not mandatory.
• Experience in emergency nursing or related clinical settings preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to support patients and collaborate with team members.
• Ability to work independently and adapt to a flexible, on‑call schedule.

• Competitive hourly pay range of $38.96 to $58.72 based on experience.
