Job Summary
Provides comprehensive nursing care in collaboration with the healthcare team, utilizing clinical judgment to diagnose and treat patients' responses to health problems. Responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care, as well as coordinating activities with other disciplines.

Responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care, as well as coordinating activities with other disciplines.
Responsibilities Include- Assessment:
Conducts accurate multi-system assessments, monitors lab tests, reassesses patients throughout hospitalization, and performs discharge assessments. - Planning:
Develops individualized care and teaching plans, coordinates with hospital and community services, delegates appropriately, and prioritizes patient needs. - Implementation:
Initiates protocols for medical and surgical management, documents care accurately, performs procedures correctly, administers medications, and responds effectively in emergencies. - Evaluation:
Reviews assessment methods, care plans, and patient responses, contributing to quality assurance activities.
- Minimum nine months RN experience; one year of ED experience or completion of a related internship.
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
- Licensure and certifications including RN license, Basic Life Support, Advanced Cardiac Life Support, and pediatric emergency courses.
- NIH Stroke Scale certification required within three months.
- Computer proficiency.
- Preferred: healthcare experience, bachelor's degree, certifications like CEN and TNCC, ability to recognize cardiac dysrhythmias, strong communication, and interpersonal skills.
