Emergency Dept RN Nights

About This Role

The Emergency Department RN provides critical nursing care to patients in a fast-paced environment, utilizing clinical judgment to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care. This role is ideal for experienced nurses who thrive in high-pressure situations and are committed to delivering exceptional patient outcomes.

• Pay: $53 - $79/hour
• Location: Hillsboro, OR
• Facility: Kaiser Permanente
• Department/Unit: Emergency Department
• Schedule: Full Time, Nights

• Perform accurate multi-system assessments, including biophysical, psychosocial, and environmental needs.
• Identify deviations from normal on routine lab diagnostic tests and reassess patients throughout hospitalization.
• Develop an individual nursing plan of care sensitive to the developmental needs of the patient.
• Coordinate patient care activities and discharge planning with other departments and community agencies.
• Initiate appropriate measures based on protocol for managing medical and/or surgical patients.
• Correctly carry out the physician's plan of care and accurately document in the EMR.
• Utilize a multidisciplinary approach when appropriate and perform all necessary procedures correctly.
• Evaluate assessment methods, plan of care, and patients' responses to treatment.
• Participate in unit quality assurance activities.

• Associate's Degree (ADN) required

• Experienced level required

• Current RN License in Oregon
