Position: TEMP RN, LDRP (36hrs, Nights)

About This Role

The TEMP RN, LDRP position involves providing nursing care for patients in labor and delivery, utilizing clinical judgment to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care. This role is ideal for experienced RNs looking to work in a dynamic environment.

What You'll Do
  • Perform accurate multi-system assessments, including biophysical, psychosocial, and educational needs.
  • Develop an individual nursing plan of care sensitive to the developmental needs of the patient.
  • Initiate appropriate measures based on protocol for managing medical and/or surgical patients.
  • Evaluate assessment methods, plan of care, and patients' responses to treatment.
  • Document care accurately in the EMR according to policy and procedure.
  • Coordinate patient care activities and discharge planning with other departments and agencies.
  • Classify acuity levels of assigned patients and establish priorities for patient care.
  • Utilize a multidisciplinary approach when appropriate and perform necessary procedures correctly.
  • Accurately calculate and administer medications.
  • Participate in unit quality assurance activities.
Requirements Education
  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
Experience
  • Minimum one (1) year of labor and delivery or postpartum experience.
Licenses & Certifications
  • Registered Nurse License (Oregon) within 3 months of hire.
  • Registered Nurse License (Washington) within 3 months of hire OR Compact License within 3 months of hire.
  • Neonatal Resuscitation Program required at hire.
  • Basic Life Support required at hire.
