Full-time, salaried, non-exempt

Compensation: DOP

Schedule:

8:30 a.m.–5 p.m., with some flexibility, participation in an on-call rotation, and ability to cover shifts as needed.

The Springs at Tanasbourne is seeking a compassionate, organized Resident Services Coordinator to support our Health Services team. In this role, you will coordinate resident care, support and supervise caregivers, and serve as a key point of contact for residents, families, and staff.

What You’ll Do
  • Partner with the Director of Health Services, Health Services Administrator, and other nurses to support quality, individualized care.
  • Develop and maintain resident service plans at move-in, after 30 days, quarterly, and with significant changes of condition.
  • Coordinate quarterly care conferences with residents and families, document discussions, and timely follow through.
  • Support new resident move‑ins by coordinating documentation, care tasks, supplies, and communication with the Sales and Health Services teams.
  • Maintain accurate resident records in Point Click Care  (PCC), including service plans and point‑of‑care tasks.
  • Help coordinate medical appointments, transportation, provider documentation, and medical supplies as needed.
  • Lead and support the team
  • Supervise Assisted Living caregivers and medication technicians and provide ongoing coaching, feedback, and performance reviews.
  • Collaborate with staffing and staff development team members to support interviews, onboarding, orientation, and required training.
  • Help ensure employees complete required training and competency documentation before providing care.
  • Monitor attendance and address performance or behavioural concerns in partnership with leadership.
  • Support scheduling, timecard review, payroll processing, and time‑off requests.
  • Participate in the staffing on‑call rotation, arrange coverage for open shifts, and provide direct care when coverage cannot be secured.
Support quality and accountability
  • Review daily care reports, progress notes, and clinical alerts, and communicate concerns to the appropriate team members.
  • Investigate incidents promptly, coordinate follow‑up interventions, and complete required documentation and reporting.
  • Participate in daily team meetings, weekly quality reviews, and audit preparation.
  • Foster respectful communication and a culture of service excellence, teamwork, and accountability.
What You Bring
  • Three to five years of relevant experience, including previous caregiving and/or medication technician experience.
  • Strong knowledge of resident care in a senior living setting.
  • Proven ability to lead, coach, and support a team.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to build relationships with residents, families, and coworkers.
  • High emotional intelligence, sound judgement, and a practical approach to problem‑solving.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritise, delegate, and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Ability to understand care documentation, physician orders, and applicable policies and regulations.
  • Proficiency with email, electronic records, databases, word processing, and spreadsheets.
