Electron Microscope Technician Hillsboro, OR
Location:
8531 NE Cornell Rd, Suite B300, Hillsboro, OR 97124 (100% onsite)
Total Regular
Hours:
42.50 per week
Timings: 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM
Pay Range: $28.00 - $32.00
QUALIFICATIONS- Must have 2-5 years experience in electron microscopy, preferably in a QC / R&D environment or must be trainable.
- Must have Good problem‑solving / troubleshooting skills.
- Must have Ability to work independently with little to no supervision.
- Must be able to hand‑on operate Scanning electron microscopy (SEM) (2+ years of experience).
- Must be able to operate Focused ion‑beam (FIB) is preferred.
- Preferred Bachelor's degree in STEM with basic knowledge in semiconductor.
- Must be familiar with characterization techniques in general.
- Must work independently with minimum supervision and as part of a team.
- Must be able to work the 2nd shift most days with some weekend commitment occasionally.
- Support R&D projects by on‑time execution of SEM imaging and sample prep requests.
- Must work independently.
- Must communicate and collaborate to ensure maximum throughput in a fast‑paced environment.
- Hands‑on SEM experience required, familiarity with FIB preferred, and basic microscope troubleshooting skills.
