Job Description

We are seeking a Quality Control professional to assist a fruit processing operation during peak harvest season. This role supports food safety, quality assurance, and production activities involving fresh and packaged fruit such as strawberries and black raspberries. The ideal candidate has prior food processing QC experience and is comfortable working long shifts in a fast-paced production environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform quality control testing on fruit and fruit packaging for food safety compliance
  • Conduct physical inspections of product and packaging throughout production
  • Monitor and document quality standards during processing
  • Support the production floor as needed during high-volume periods
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local food safety regulations
  • Assist with basic laboratory or in-process testing as required
  • Communicate quality issues clearly to production and leadership teams
Qualifications
  • Laboratory testing experience required
  • Fruit processing or fruit packaging experience strongly preferred but not required
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred
  • Ability to work flexible schedules, including long shifts and up to 7 days per week
  • Comfortable working in a production environment during peak harvest season

Pay: $20 to $25 per hour

Schedule:
