Tonkin Hillsboro Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram has a wonderful opening for an individual who would like to start a career in the automotive industry. This opportunity does not require previous automotive experience. We are seeking an individual to serve as a Lot Attendant/Porter. This position is a perfect way to get an understanding of the automotive industry and how a dealership works.

Many of our Lot Attendants/Porters go on to become Sales Representatives or Technicians. Working as our Lot Attendant/Porter, your duties would range from assisting in detailing cars to rearranging the car lot. The ideal candidate would have a great work ethic and great people skills.

Lot Attendant/Porter

Job Responsibilities
  • Perform check‑in inspections of vehicles on the service drive and park them in designated areas.
  • Pull vehicles up and deliver to guests upon completion.
  • Provide quality customer service to guests.
  • Maintain an orderly appearance of vehicle displays.
  • Clean and fuel vehicles for customer handover.
  • Assist service advisors as necessary.
  • Other duties as needed to help support the Service team.

Schedule:

Full/Part‑Time from Tuesday to Friday and all day Saturday.

Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent.
  • Driver’s License.

Corporate Hiring Requirements:
Must be 18 years or older, have a clean driving record with a valid driver’s license, able to pass a criminal background check and pre‑employment drug testing.
