• Starting salary of $24–$28 per hour depending on experience

• Monday – Friday, starting at 7 am
• Stable hours for financial security and work‑life balance
• Repair/maintenance shop at our Hillsboro, OR hauling site

• Inspect, diagnose and repair electrical, hydraulic, suspension, brake and air systems on a wide range of vehicles and equipment
• Estimate time and material costs on vehicle repairs and new parts
• Perform work within Standard Labor Repair Times (SRTs)
• Respond to service calls for emergency breakdowns
• Perform safety checks on vehicles – the safety of every employee and the people in our communities is our top priority
• Complete required paperwork, documenting parts usage and accounting for repair times
• Assist senior mechanics in the completion of project work
• Review, complete, or assign repairs identified on Driver Vehicle Inspection Reports
• Maintain a clean, safe work area in compliance with Corporate/OSHA Standards and perform all work in accordance with established safety procedures

• A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Over 18 years of age
• Legally eligible to work in the United States
• Ability to perform the physical requirements of the position, with or without reasonable accommodations
• Successfully complete and pass pre‑employment drug screen and physical

• Required to exert physical effort that includes frequent lifting, pushing, pulling, crouching, and climbing; constant standing, walking, and grasping; occasional sitting and balancing
• Exposed to physical occupational risks (such as cuts, burns, exposure to toxic chemicals, etc.) often
• Exposed to physical environmental factors (dirt, odors, noise, weather extremes, or similar elements) often
• Job operates in both inside garage/shop or gas plant conditions and outside conditions that include inclement weather, heat and humidity
