Overview

Espresso Me, a Smart Care company, is a growing company based out of Hillsboro, OR and has immediate openings for a service technician in the Portland area. We service commercial espresso machines, brewers, grinders and other beverage equipment.

$1,000 Sign‑On Bonus

Responsibilities
  • Install, repair, and perform preventive maintenance of coffee, espresso, brewers, grinders, blenders, and other service equipment.
  • Provide emergency and unscheduled repairs during production and perform scheduled maintenance repairs during machine service.
  • Maintain required performance and maintenance records for identified equipment.
  • Detect and report defective materials or questionable conditions to the department supervisor.
  • Assist store personnel with technical troubleshooting.
  • Assist and train other maintenance and technical-level employees.
  • Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follow prescribed safety regulations.
  • Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.
  • Use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters and material handling equipment in performing duties.
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma.
  • Mechanically inclined with strong mechanical aptitude and logic and reasoning skills.
  • Relevant experience is a plus; willing to train the right candidate.
  • A solid work ethic and the ability to work independently.
  • Clean driving record is required.
  • Demonstrated good work habits, including promptness to work and good attendance.
  • Ability to work under and above counters and service cases.
  • Ability to lift up to 60 lbs.
  • Legally authorized to work in the U.S.
Compensation and Benefits

Hourly pay with the possibility of overtime and bonus. Company work van provided. 401(k) company match. 3 weeks of PTO, holidays and floating holidays. Medical, dental, and vision benefits.
