Summary

The Electronics Technician I is responsible for supporting the testing, troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of electronic equipment and manufacturing systems. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical aptitude and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced production environment while maintaining strict quality and safety standards.

Roles & Responsibilities
  • Perform diagnostic testing and troubleshooting of electronic systems and components.
  • Conduct preventive maintenance and calibration activities on production equipment.
  • Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation.
  • Perform equipment repairs and component replacements as required.
  • Document maintenance activities accurately and maintain service records.
  • Support equipment installation, setup, and operational verification activities.
  • Identify equipment failures and escalated technical issues appropriately.
  • Ensure compliance with safety procedures and quality standards during all maintenance activities.
  • Collaborate with engineering and production teams to improve equipment performance.
  • Maintain inventory of maintenance supplies and replacement components.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Support cross-functional teams during equipment qualification and validation activities.
Requirements
  • Associate Degree in Electronics Technology, Electrical Engineering Technology, or a related field
  • 13 years of experience in electronics maintenance, testing, or manufacturing support.
  • Experience using multimeters, oscilloscopes, and other diagnostic equipment.
  • Ability to read electrical schematics and technical drawings.
  • Familiarity with preventive maintenance and troubleshooting methodologies.
  • Strong attention to detail and documentation practices.
  • Experience working in semiconductor, manufacturing, or industrial environments is preferred.
  • Ability to work independently and effectively in a rotating shift schedule.
