Arcadis is seeking a Tool Coordinator in Hillsboro, Oregon to support our semiconductor sector. This role is responsible for coordinating field activities, vendors, trades, logistics, and stakeholders to ensure work is completed safely, on schedule, within scope, and in alignment with quality and protocol requirements.

The Tool Coordinator spends most of their time in the field supporting daily execution, readiness, milestone coordination, and real-time issue resolution across tool install, decommissioning, and startup activities

• Coordinate ongoing semiconductor tool installations, de-installations, equipment removals, and tool moves.
• Coordinate daily activities between Construction Management Team, Customers, Equipment Suppliers, Contractors, Facilities Teams, and Engineering Groups.
• Monitor project progress and communicate schedule updates, delays, constraints, and potential risks with the Equipment Owners and the Project Manager.
• Coordinate staging locations, equipment deliveries, removal activities, and tool move logistics.
• Coordinate new facility utility connections, disconnects and reconnections, including electrical, mechanical, process gases, exhaust, vacuum, chilled water, UPW, CDA, and other systems as required.
• Ensure Tool installation and de-installation activities are performed in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, procedures, and site requirements.
• Participate in Daily Coordination Meetings, Pre-installation and Pre-de-installation Meetings, and Project Status Meetings.
• Track installation and de-installation milestones, punch‑list items, deficiencies, and completion activities.
• Support Tool turnover, removal, and closeout activities by ensuring documentation and outstanding items are properly tracked.
• Identify installation or de-installation issues and coordinate with the appropriate engineering, facilities, or Vendor personnel.

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Project Management, or a related field preferred; equivalent field experience will also be considered.
• Familiarity with semiconductor equipment and Fab utility requirements.
• Ability to read and understand equipment layouts, facility drawings, utility drawings, and installation documentation.
• Experience with project scheduling and tracking software.
• Knowledge of cleanroom protocols and contamination‑control practices.
• Experience with equipment move‑in, installation, utility hookup, de‑installation, utility disconnect, removal, commissioning, or turnover activities.
• Strong organizational and time‑management skills.
• Ability to coordinate multiple activities and priorities simultaneously.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively with engineers, technicians, contractors, equipment vendors, and customers.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment where schedules and priorities may change.
• OSHA 10 (can be acquired after hire)
• Ability to provide legal US work authorization documents required. Will consider US domestic travelers and relocation.
