Essential Duties- Willingness to work shift work and last‑minute overtime.
- Track record of honesty and integrity.
- Willingness to learn and accept feedback.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast‑paced environment.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Typing ability with speed and accuracy.
- No disqualifying criminal history.
- 1 year of customer‑service experience.
- 1 year of computer data entry and retrieval experience.
- Any combination of experience and training that meets required knowledge and skills.
Must obtain and maintain within 18 months of hire:
- Communicate clearly and concisely in English over the telephone.
- Prioritize complex incidents based on situational variables.
- Decide on appropriate courses of action quickly.
- Write clearly, accurately, and legibly.
- Learn CAD functions, radio systems, and basic office machinery.
- Type complex alphanumeric data with high accuracy and speed.
- Multitask and retain information over long periods.
- Read, interpret, and apply agency operating guidelines.
- Comprehend complex written material containing technical, legal, and medical terminology.
- Adjust to changing workloads.
- Adhere to ethical and legal standards required for certification.
- Participate in mandatory training.
- Exercise good judgment, common sense, and emotional intelligence.
- Maintain confidentiality and handle stressful conditions.
- Build effective relationships with employees, agencies, and the community.
Sit at a desk or console for extended periods; occasionally walk, stand, or stoop; occasionally lift objects up to 10 pounds; use tools requiring high dexterity; maintain concentration; handle callers with emotional or behavioral challenges; meet all physical standards set by the State of Oregon.

Supervision:
Direction and supervision from the Operations Supervisor. No supervisory responsibilities.
