• Design, develop, and test operating systems‑level software, specifically for a Linux‑based validation environment.
• Contribute to the release and validation of next‑generation compute products, ensuring their stability and performance.
• Apply principles of computer science and mathematical analysis to complex software and system challenges.
• Troubleshoot and resolve intricate system issues, making necessary software changes to optimize functionality.
• Collaborate with a project team to define scope, coordinate development efforts, and ensure successful project delivery.
• Participate in the full software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering to deployment and support.
• Review project requests to estimate time and cost required for completion.

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a relevant field.
• 5–7 years of experience in software development.
• Relevant Linux experience within the last 5 years.
• Proficiency in the full software development lifecycle, from business/systems analysis through testing and delivery.
• Ability to troubleshoot issues and implement system changes as needed.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with excellent problem‑solving and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  
  Knowledge of computer hardware and software principles.
• Familiarity with computer development software as it relates to systems.

• Experience as an open‑source contributor. Experience contributing to Linux open‑source projects or up streaming.
