Software Developer III – Software Engineering
UST is searching for a skilled software developer in our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high‑quality web applications and services using Python, MySQL, AWS, and more.
Responsibilities- Develop and maintain robust and scalable cloud applications and services using Python, Golang, and Clojure.
- Develop and consume RESTful APIs for seamless integration with other systems.
- Write clean, well‑documented, and testable code, adhering to coding standards and best practices.
- Perform regular updates to libraries.
- Maintain infrastructure as code definitions.
- Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and knowledge sharing.
- Collaborate with customer teams, including product managers, designers, and QA engineers, to define and achieve project goals.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, ensuring the stability and performance of applications.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field.
- 9+ years of experience in software development.
- Excellent programming skills and proven experience with Python.
- Familiarity with Golang and Clojure.
- Experience in AWS cloud services (SQS, S3, EC2, ECR, Elastic Beanstalk, Route 53, Functions, etc.).
- Understanding of Azure cloud services (Scale Sets, Networking, API Management, AAD, etc.).
- Experience using Docker/Kubernetes and Jenkins.
- Experience with development and deployment practices/tools – unit test, integration, Git Hub, CI/CD.
- Good to have:
Experience with JavaScript.

Compensation Range: $68,000 – $102,000 per year
Full‑time employees accrue a minimum of 10 days of paid vacation per year, 6 days of paid sick leave, 10 paid holidays, and are eligible for paid bereavement leave and jury duty. Employees are eligible to participate in the Company’s 401(k) Retirement Plan with employer matching and receive medical, dental, and vision insurance, basic life insurance, accidental death and disability insurance, and short‑ and long‑term disability benefits.
