Overview
NVIDIA's HPC Compiler Team is hiring a Compiler Developer to join the team building one of the world's most important optimizing compilers. This role offers a front-row seat to pioneering compiler development in high-performance computing. NVIDIA’s GPUs enable large-scale HPC projects that model real-world phenomena such as weather, climatology, fluid dynamics, and defense. We support real science and scientists worldwide.
What you'll be doing- Designing and implementing new features for high-performance CPUs and GPUs
- Collaborating with application teams to tackle meaningful compilation problems
- Partnering with team members on projects related to high-performance computing and optimizations
- Interacting directly with teams in the open source community
- Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Computer Engineering, or related field (Ph.D. or Masters preferred) or equivalent experience
- 6+ years experience developing production-quality compilers or tools or equivalent
- Proven understanding of compiler internals, front-ends, and optimizers
- Knowledge of programming fundamentals, especially in C/C++, with a deep understanding of parallel computer architectures and optimizations
- Experience with the EDG compiler front end or LLVM is a strong plus
- Familiarity with C++, OpenMP, and OpenACC standards
- Genuine passion for compiler development
- High motivation and strong problem-solving skills
Your base salary will be determined based on location, experience, and salaries of similar positions. The base salary range is 184,000 USD - 287,500 USD. You will also be eligible for equity and benefits.
