Position Summary
The General Warehouse Associate is responsible for picking, scanning, labeling, moving, staging, replenishing and stacking product. This individual is also responsible for counting and inspecting product and notifying leadership when there are damages or discrepancies. Associates are accountable for the safe and efficient operation of all equipment and will be expected to perform all duties as assigned.
Schedule: Every other Wednesday and Thursday, 9A – 9P, and Friday and Saturday, 6A – 6P
Key Responsibilities
- Locate and unload pump deliveries from pallets and crates using pallet jack and power tools.
- Scan deliveries using company‑issued devices and transport them to designated laydown areas; identify return items, prepare them for shipment by crating and palletizing, scan and stage for pickup.
- Handle small parts and process returns using the work computer system.
Equipment Operation
- Use of pallet jack and other basic equipment.
- Maintain equipment and report problems.
- Operate all equipment safely, efficiently, following prescribed methods.
Other Duties
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Work overtime as dictated by business (mandatory or voluntary).
Education and Experience
- Must have a high school diploma or GED.
- Preferred: 6 months experience working in a warehouse/logistics/distribution environment.
Physical Demands and Work Environment
- Occasionally:
Handling/Fingering, Sitting. - Frequently:
Bending. - Constantly:
Walking and Standing; ability to lift/carry/push/pull 21–50 pounds; reach above shoulder, outward, squat, kneel. - Work environment: low to moderate noise; rarely exposed to fumes or chemicals.
Compensation
Expected base pay range: $21.00 – $21.00 per hour. Compensation will be determined based on job‑related factors.
