The Warehouse Associate is responsible for operating a forklift and other material handling equipment for the purpose of shipping, receiving, and picking. Activities may include loading or unloading, scanning, moving, staging, replenishing, and stacking product. The Associate also counts and inspects product, notifying leadership when there are damages or discrepancies. They are accountable for the safe and efficient operation of all equipment and expected to perform all duties as assigned.
Associates are expected to meet company objectives in performance, safety, and quality and comply with all corporate and site‑specific policies.
Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Essential Duties and Responsibilities Shipping Responsibilities- Use a gas or electric powered forklift to load outbound shipments, move product, and stack products or materials. Efficiently and accurately load orders according to the appropriate doors and trailers.
- Process all shipping functions as defined by Standard Operating Procedures.
- Use a gas or electric powered forklift to unload inbound shipments, move product, replenish, stack and store product or materials.
- Locate and place products in the appropriate storage areas efficiently and accurately.
- Process all receiving functions as defined by Standard Operating Procedures.
- Use a gas or electric powered forklift to accurately pick orders to fulfill client demands.
- Efficiently and accurately pick products, stage them in the appropriate areas, and stack, package, band, shrink wrap, and label product(s) as determined by client requirements.
- Process all picking functions as defined by Standard Operating Procedures.
- Use appropriate documentation to ensure products and orders are received, handled, and shipped correctly.
- Verify product(s) and/or orders meet quality standards, including reporting any damages or discrepancies.
- Stack, package, shrink wrap, and label product(s). Process all quality control functions as defined by Standard Operating Procedures.
- Execute all safety protocols and perform job tasks in a manner that promotes safety.
- Maintain cleanliness, orderliness, and security of the warehouse.
- Comply with Standard Operating Procedures, corporate and site‑specific policies, safety rules, and OSHA/MSDS Standards.
- Operators may use sit‑down, stand‑up, reach truck, sweeper scrubber, scissor lift, cherry picker, Aisle Master or pallet jack.
- Maintain and repair equipment as required; report problems promptly.
- Inspect and perform minor maintenance on equipment daily.
- Operate all equipment safely and efficiently following work methods.
- Maintain an active forklift certification.
- Perform or assist in building, grounds, and equipment maintenance as assigned.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Work overtime as dictated by business, whether mandatory or voluntary.

Required Qualifications
Education and Experience
- High school diploma or GED.
- 6 months experience in logistics/distribution or a relevant environment.
- Ability to operate MHE with packaging and labeling experience.
- Previous mechanical experience.
- Inventory tracking experience.
- Satisfactory completion of a forklift training program.
- Must be able to work in unregulated temperatures ranging from mild to moderate.
- Ability to stand for long periods.
- Basic computer skills.
