SUMMARY

Function:
Facilitates shipments of incoming and outgoing products and materials, including hazardous waste.

Scope:
Responsible for verifying outbound/inbound shipments of finished goods products, raw materials, and supplies.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

The essential functions of this position require prioritizing and completing all assigned tasks in a timely and efficient manner, adjusting for changing priorities and availability of resources, and demonstrating initiative in identifying additional job-related tasks to be completed when time permits. The amount of time performing each function may vary day-to-day. All duties shall be performed in an efficient and professional manner in accordance with the company policies and under the direct supervision of a designated supervisor.

1. Obtain and process product orders, prepare shipping documents such as bills of lading and invoices, and verify shipment details.

2. Assist with preparing and maintaining a delivery schedule and communicating to all relevant departments.

3. Assist with unloading, loading, sorting, stocking, packaging, labeling, and dispatching goods, using pallet jacks or forklifts.

4. Follow all relevant guidelines and regulations for the Import and Export of all goods and materials related to certifications in DOT, IATA, IMDG, DEA, and EPA.

5. Effectively communicate with internal and external teams regarding shipping status, discrepancies, and delivery schedules, escalating issues related to international shipping to proper personnel.

6. Stay up to date on all relevant SOPs including revisions.

7. Adherence to State and Federal regulations and guidelines when handling hazardous materials or when exposed to hazardous situations.

8. Verification of all freight PODs (Proof of Delivery) as needed.

9. Assist team with maintenance of material handling equipment.

10. Adherence to TOK America’s corporate, manufacturing and logistics methods and SOPs, while maintaining compliance with safety and efficiency standards.

11. Perform 6S related duties such as cleaning and general housekeeping.

12. Adherence to all PPE requirements onsite.

13. Actively demonstrate high levels of employee engagement, coachability (e.g., receiving and incorporating business-related feedback and instruction with a positive and growth-oriented mindset) to achieve desired outcomes, and accountability for personal performance and its impact on others' ability to do their job well.

14. Perform other necessary duties and tasks as requested.

Periodical

Attending annual and/or quarterly refresher courses related to hazardous waste management and handling, DOT, IATA, IMDG, general safety, quality management, environmental management, and forklift safety.

SUPERVISION

Receives:
General supervision given by Supervisor and above. Completed work is periodically reviewed for accuracy, completeness, and compliance within established guidelines.

Requirements REQUIRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

· Position requires a High School Diploma or G.E.D

· 2 years of previous Logistics and Warehouse experience.

· Forklift certification is required.

· Knowledge of common warehouse practices.
