Position InformationPay: $12/hr (PT). FLSA Status:
Non‑Exempt.

Coordinator of Library Services. Department:
Learning Innovation.
Support daily operations of the library department.
EducationMust be enrolled as a full‑time student and maintain a GPA above 2.0.
ExperienceCustomer service and basic computer skills.
Core Duties and Required KnowledgeProvides exceptional customer service. Performs circulation desk functions such as answering patron questions—phone, email, and in‑person—managing borrowed materials, managing room reservations, and collecting library usage statistics. Assists library users in locating material in the collections using the automated catalog. Performs collections maintenance such as shelving and shifting books.
Strategic Vision and Program DevelopmentContribute to the growth and enhancement of the libraries by supporting events, fostering student engagement, and assisting in continuous improvement of library operations.
CollaborationWork closely with library staff, IT, and Student Experience staff members, and library visitors to ensure effective operations and a positive patron experience.
Demonstrated AttributesDependability, reliability, strong communication and mentoring skills. Ability to work evenings as required. Enthusiasm for libraries and technology.
Other InformationThis position may require flexible hours, including evenings and event days.
Physical RequirementsLight work: exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body. The use of arm and/or leg controls requires exertion of force greater than that for sedentary work. Ability to sit and work at a computer for extended periods.
