Master qualifications: HS graduate or GED minimum equivalency of associate's degree or successful completion of locally administered competency examination. Valid Texas educational aide certificate. State fingerprinting requirement.
Job description:
To assist the teacher in maintaining appropriate classroom activities and environment in order that students may learn effectively. Work under the general supervision of the principal and the immediate direction of a certified teacher.
Responsibilities:
Ability to work well with children; basic knowledge of general office and audiovisual equipment; basic typing/keyboarding skills; good organizational and communication skills; computer knowledge/background desired.
Experience:
Some experience working with children; bilingual required.
