Adjunct, Vascular Technology
Responsible for the success of the total teaching/learning process within the assigned classroom, lab, and other learning environments.
Associate's degree within the instructional area being taught. Registry in Vascular Sonography.
Preferred:
Experience teaching in higher education within the instructional area being taught.
Working knowledge of the guidelines of the state agency/accrediting agency for the departments with regulation from outside agencies.
Working knowledge of all regulations in adherence to required licenses and certifications.
Working knowledge of the Hill College vision and mission.
Contributes to the development and review of the curriculum.
Contributes to the course syllabi and textbooks adopted for each course.
Maintains familiarity with recent publications and journals and participates in local or national professional societies and meetings where appropriate
Ability to interact with all levels of the organization.
Ability to work independently and as a member of a team.
Conducts class discussions within the scope of the course and professional competence.
Demonstrated customer service skills.
Demonstrated initiative to engage in continuous learning.
Demonstrated organization and time-management skills.
Sets a high standard in academic and scholarly excellence, personal integrity, and professional ethics.

Submits all paperwork in an appropriate and timely manner.
Ability to maintain confidentiality of all information.
