• Develop and implement lesson plans that fulfill the requirements of the district’s curriculum program and provide written evidence of preparation as required.
• Prepare lessons that accommodate differences in student learning styles.
• Present subject matter according to guidelines established by the Texas Education Agency, board policies and administrative regulations.
• Collaborate with other staff members to determine instructional goals, objectives and methods according to district requirements.
• Create a classroom environment conducive to learning and appropriate for the physical, social and emotional development of students.

Perform other related tasks as assigned by the Principal and central office administrators as designated by the Superintendent.

Travel to school district buildings and professional meetings as required.

• Bachelor’s Degree in any field or its equivalent.
• Valid Standard or Probationary Texas Educator Certificate in Bilingual Generalist Spanish or Bilingual Education Supplemental Spanish.

Prior teaching experience for the appropriate grade level preferred.
