Job Description:

Adjunct, Vascular Technology

Responsible for the success of the total teaching/learning process within the assigned classroom, lab, and other learning environments.

Associate’s degree within the instructional area being taught. Registry in Vascular Sonography.

Preferred:
Experience teaching in higher education within the instructional area being taught.

• Working knowledge of the guidelines of the state agency/accrediting agency for the departments with regulation from outside agencies.
• Working knowledge of all regulations in adherence to required licenses and certifications.
• Working knowledge of the Hill College vision and mission.

• Contributes to the development and review of the curriculum.
• Contributes to the course syllabi and textbooks adopted for each course.
• Maintains familiarity with recent publications and journals and participates in local or national professional societies and meetings where appropriate.

• Ability to interact with all levels of the organization.
• Ability to work independently and as a member of a team.
• Conducts class discussions within the scope of the course and professional competence.

• Demonstrated customer service skills.
• Demonstrated initiative to engage in continuous learning.
