Compensation
Base hourly rate: $22.27. First 90 days pay: $19.50 per hour.
Hours:
6PM-6AM
Schedule:
4‑5 days a week, must be able to work overtime.
This entry‑level position supports the core team by performing onsite material handling and production line monitoring, including stacking product, cutting and sampling, forklift operation, cleaning, and preventive maintenance. The role is cross‑functional and part of the pay‑for‑skills program.
Responsibilities- Follow the Job Safety Analysis, use safe work practices, and report hazardous conditions.
- Wear protective clothing and equipment as required.
- Keep equipment and work area clean and orderly.
- Perform housekeeping activities within the work area.
- Operate a forklift and be forklift certified.
- Sign the daily forklift check sheet.
- Understand Lock‑Out/Tag‑Out (LOTO) procedures for ovens and pallet conveyors.
- Apply proper product labels to pallets and follow standard labeling procedures.
- Identify the different products produced.
- Read and identify the different tapes for all products.
- Know the warehouse location for product storage.
- Fully understand the relevant Job Safety Analyses and operating procedures.
- Unload and move material safely throughout the plant, following safe lifting practices.
- Complete all safety requirements (Pure Safety / Monthly Safety Actions).
- Participate actively in daily safety huddles.
- Swiping timekeeping accurately and consistently at scheduled times.
No supervisory responsibilities for direct reports.
Requirements- At least one year of experience in a warehouse/production environment.
- Accurately read a tape measure, work instructions, and finished product specifications.
- General math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, fractions, and percentages).
- Beginner to intermediate computer skills, Microsoft Office.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
- Understand Root Cause Corrective Action Process.
- Strong decision‑making skills.
- Exceptional team player.
- Ability to drive a forklift.
- Stand for extended periods.
- Manually lift, push or pull at least 50 pounds with proper body mechanics.
- Use hands for repetitive motion, grabbing, feeling, sensing, pulling.
- Work safely in a fast‑paced, sometimes stressful environment.
- Work in an often dusty environment with a broad temperature range.
- Withstand a 12‑hour rotating shift schedule.
- Bend, stoop or kneel repetitively.
- Reaches or works above shoulder level.
