The Project Checker is responsible for ensuring the accuracy and quality of models and project outputs throughout the drafting process. This role reviews drawings, materials, and documentation to confirm alignment with contract documents, engineering requirements, and company standards. The Project Checker also partners with internal teams to quickly identify and resolve discrepancies to keep projects on track.

Salary above $57,500. Based on location and experience.

WHAT YOU'LL DO
  • Review erection drawings for dimensional accuracy and compliance with construction documents and specifications
  • Verify application of project details, engineering standards, and company procedures
  • Check material takeoffs and production material sheets for accuracy
  • Review erection/site material sheets for conformance to design and drawings
  • Validate pour tickets for accuracy, formatting, and clarity
  • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve non-conformances efficiently
  • Support quality assurance throughout the drafting and production process
  • Assist with special projects and additional assigned tasks
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to drafting team members
WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented and takes pride in ensuring accuracy across all aspects of a project. They bring hands-on precast or construction experience and are confident reviewing drawings, materials, and specifications. This individual thrives in a collaborative environment and is motivated to improve processes while supporting team success.

IDEAL CANDIDATES WILL HAVE
  • Minimum 3 years of precast or related construction experience
  • Minimum 3 years of experience Revit detailing/modeling
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting construction documents and shop drawings
  • Working knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit, and Microsoft Office products
  • Ability to review detailed drawings and visualize production/erection processes
  • Knowledge of precast products, systems, and applications
  • Ability to identify issues and support practical solutions
  • Comfortable working across teams to resolve project discrepancies
  • Adaptability to process improvements and evolving standards
WORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
  • Must be able to sit for long periods of time
  • Occasional visits to active plant and field locations are required based on operational needs
  • Ability to wear all required PPE, including but not limited to safety boots, safety glasses, hearing protection, high visibility vest, hard hat, and other PPE as required while in the plant and field.
  • Must be able to stand, walk, and navigate active plant and field environments as needed.
  • Must be able to climb stairs, walk on uneven surfaces, and safely move through industrial work areas.
  • May be exposed to moving equipment, machinery, and other standard industrial hazards.
