POSITION / OPPORTUNITY OVERVIEW

  • Join a high-profile aircraft modification and sustainment program supporting advanced special mission Gulfstream G550 aircraft.
  • We are seeking experienced Aircraft Mechanics to perform maintenance, troubleshooting, inspections, repairs, and flightline operations on mission-critical aircraft supporting military and government operations.
  • This role is ideal for mechanics with a strong military aviation background who thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy working alongside engineering, avionics, and maintenance teams to keep aircraft mission-ready.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Perform scheduled and unscheduled aircraft maintenance on airframe, powerplant, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, fuel, electrical, and environmental systems.
  • Troubleshoot and repair aircraft discrepancies using approved maintenance procedures, technical manuals, engineering drawings, and schematics.
  • Conduct inspections and identify wear, damage, or system malfunctions requiring corrective action.
  • Support aircraft modifications, upgrades, and system integrations on special mission aircraft.
  • Perform aircraft launch, recovery, servicing, towing, and daily flightline operations.
  • Execute engine runs and operational checks in accordance with approved procedures.
  • Utilize maintenance tracking systems and accurately document all maintenance actions.
  • Coordinate with engineering, quality, logistics, and maintenance personnel to resolve technical issues.
  • Maintain accountability of tools, support equipment, and materials.
  • Ensure compliance with all customer, FAA, DoD, safety, and quality requirements.
  • Support mission readiness while working in both hangar and outdoor flightline environments.

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 8+ years of aircraft maintenance experience
  • Previous experience supporting U.S. Air Force, Department of Defense, or military aviation operations
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, engineering drawings, schematics, and maintenance procedures
  • Experience utilizing maintenance information systems and troubleshooting equipment
  • Ability to complete a pre-employment 10-year Criminal Background Check, and standard FAA DOT drug test.
  • Reliable personal transportation/vehicle required.
  • Proof of U.S Citizenship Required.
  • Valid US Driver’s License.
  • MUST have basic tools/box.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Engine Run Certification is a plus
  • Aircraft modification or modernization program experience
  • Familiarity with DoD maintenance and quality assurance procedures

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Ability to work in aircraft hangars and outdoor flightline environments
  • Ability to climb ladders, maintenance stands, and aircraft structures
  • Ability to lift up to 30 pounds
  • Ability to work in confined spaces and elevated areas
  • Ability to work overtime, weekends, holidays, and flexible schedules as required
