The Patch & Finish Team Lead is responsible for leading and coordinating a crew focused on repairing, detailing, and finishing precast products to meet company quality standards. This role ensures all patching, finishing, and corrective work is completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with specifications prior to delivery to the jobsite.

- Lead and coordinate patch and finish crew daily work assignments
- Perform patching, finishing, and repair work on precast products as needed
- Inspect work to ensure quality standards and specifications are met
- Move on and around forms, product, trailers, and elevated work platforms safely
- Handle and transport materials required for finishing and repair tasks
- Operate hand and power tools including grinders, drills, and cut-off saws
- Use or learn gas/acetylene torch work for finishing applications
- Operate forklifts and overhead cranes (training provided if needed)
- Perform concrete-related work including pouring, leveling, and finishing
- Apply knowledge of rigging and safe product handling techniques
- Train, coach, and support crew members in proper procedures and safety practices
- Support specialized finishing processes including sandblasting, polishing, and acid washing
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment
- Complete additional duties and special projects as assigned
The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with strong construction or precast finishing experience. They are comfortable working in physically demanding environments while guiding a team to meet production and quality standards. This individual leads by example, communicates clearly, and ensures safety, efficiency, and craftsmanship remain top priorities.
IDEAL CANDIDATES WILL HAVE- High School Diploma or GED required
- 2+ years of concrete experience
- Proven leadership experience
- Ability to read and interpret pour sheets and installation instructions
- Basic English communication skills for team coordination
