* Job Description:
** The PSAV Program Coordinator is responsible for organizing, scheduling, coordinating, and monitoring a postsecondary adult vocational program to ensure effective operations and full compliance with state and federal standards. This position oversees program delivery, facilities, equipment, instructors, reporting, and assessments. The coordinator serves as a liaison with external agencies and industry partners to support program certification and student placement.

* Job Duties:

* • Organizes, schedules and coordinates facilities, equipment, materials and activities ensures adequate supplies and equipment available. Ensures proper maintenance of facilities and equipment.
• Monitors, verifies, administers and records standardized examinations in accordance with standards and guidelines.
• Monitors all phases of ongoing programs and prepares and submits reports to ensure adherence to all standards and guidelines.
• Interviews, screens and recommends for hire certified instructors. May also provide instructional support for program(s).
• Evaluates instructors, courses and curriculum to ensure effective program provided for students.
• Solicits input from outside agencies regarding courses needed for program certification or to enhance program offerings.
• Acts as liaison to local outside agencies.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
** Supplemental Job Information:
** This is a full-time position responsible for coordinating and teaching an 1,800-clock-hour curriculum for service technicians who maintain and repair heavy equipment. Instruction and program delivery must align with guidelines established by the Florida Department of Education and the National Automotive Technicians Education Foundation (NATEF).

* Minimum Qualifications:
** The position requires at least a Bachelor’s degree and at least three years of prior-related work experience or at least a High School diploma or GED equivalent if substituting experience for education. Technical certification and/or licensure also may be required for some programs.

* Preferred Qualifications:
** Prior vocational teaching experience. Current Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) certifications in T1, T2, T3, T4, T5, T6, T7, and T8 or equivalent certifications in Heavy Equipment.
