** This position may involve teaching a day, evening, and/or weekend schedule at the Dale Mabry, Plant City, and/or South Shore campuses. In addition, this position may involve working at clinical sites.
** Job Description
** This is a tenured-track faculty position.
** Minimum Qualifications
** Master’s degree in nursing and current Florida registered nursing (RN or ARNP) license or eligibility to receive the license. Desire candidates with on-going professional development interests, love of teaching, and enthusiasm for campus and College committees and activities.
** Preferred Qualifications
** Prefer applicants with experience teaching medical surgical nursing or medical surgical experience and teaching experience in higher education, especially at the community college level.
** Employment Information
** Applicants with a qualifying degree from an educational institution outside the United States, Canada, and the United Kingdom must attach a foreign credential evaluation from one of the members of the National Association of Credential Evaluations Services (website:(Use the "Apply for this Job" box below).). Applicants must attach a copy of their graduate transcripts from a regionally accredited higher education institution, showing at least the minimum qualifications, at the time of application.

In addition, applicants must attach:(1) a copy of a current Florida registered nursing (RN or ARNP) license or eligibility to receive the license and(2) a cover letter and resume detailing their nursing work experience.

If the transcript copy does not reflect awarding of the required degree, applicants must attach written documentation from the educational institution showing when the degree was awarded. If selected for an interview, applicants must bring an original transcript to the interview showing the awarding of the required degree. A faculty screening committee will analyze the strength of your application materials. You should include a complete online application, CV, cover letter, unofficial transcripts, and professional references.
** Pay Rate
** Faculty members will be assigned to the appropriate salary grade based on the contract with the faculty union
* Grade 2:  Master’s Degree with 18 graduate semester hours in field $51,934.60
* Grade 2+:
Master’s Degree with 30 graduate semester hours in the field $54,594.23
* Grade 1:  PhD in major field $57,255.05

Up to four salary steps may be applied to the starting salary based on experience.
