Position SummaryThis client is seeking a Municipal Project Manager to join them in there Central Jersey office, where you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and delivering municipal infrastructure and capital projects. The role ensures projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and in compliance with municipal policies and regulatory requirements. As being a key member, you will also be responsible for development new businesses.
BriefResponsibilities
- Lead and Manage municipal projects from planning through completion.
- Develop project schedules, budgets, and work plans.
- Coordinate consultants, contractors, and internal departments.
- Monitor project progress, budgets, and timelines.
- Prepare reports and updates for management and Council.
- Ensure compliance with procurement policies, legislation, and safety standards.
- Identify project risks and implement solutions.
- Engage with stakeholders, residents, and external agencies as required.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
- P.E License in New Jersey (required)
- Minimum 7+ years of experience in municipal and land development engineering
- Knowledge of municipal procurement, contract administration, and capital project delivery.
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management software.
