OverviewWe are seeking a proactive and customer-focused DSS Coordinator to join our team in Hillsborough, NJ. This role serves as the first point of contact for technical and service-related issues across the business and plays a key role in ensuring incidents are managed efficiently through to resolution.
The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, a structured approach to incident management, and the ability to provide reliable onsite support across multiple client locations.
Key Responsibilities- Act as the first point of contact for all issues raised by business users
- Gather and document complete and accurate details of reported issues to enable quick resolution
- Take full ownership of incidents
, managing them through to resolution or appropriate escalation - Configure and support office hardware and software
, including desktops, laptops, and peripherals - Perform day-to-day system monitoring to identify and prevent potential service-impacting issues
- Research ideas, tools, and concepts to recommend effective technical solutions
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely and efficient issue resolution
- Provide onsite support to clients at various locations as required
- Maintain clear documentation and updates for incidents and service requests
Skills & Qualifications
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues independently
- Experience with incident management or service desk operations
- Basic knowledge of office hardware, software, and systems
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work onsite and travel to multiple client locations
- Previous experience in a DSS, service desk, or IT coordination role
- Familiarity with ticketing systems and documentation processes
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment
