Job SummaryWe are seeking a motivated and dependable Water Mitigation Technician to join our growing restoration team. This position is responsible for responding to emergency water damage losses, performing mitigation services, and providing exceptional customer service while helping homeowners and businesses recover from property damage.
No restoration experience is required for the right candidate—we are willing to train individuals with a strong work ethic, positive attitude, and willingness to learn.
Responsibilities- Respond to emergency water damage calls.
- Perform water extraction, demolition, and structural drying.
- Set up and monitor drying equipment including air movers and dehumidifiers.
- Take moisture readings and document drying progress.
- Remove damaged building materials as needed.
- Maintain accurate job documentation, photos, and notes.
- Communicate professionally with customers throughout the restoration process.
- Keep company vehicles, tools, and equipment clean and organized.
- Follow company safety procedures and industry standards.
- Participate in an on-call rotation for after-hours emergency services.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds regularly.
- Comfortable working in residential and commercial environments.
- Ability to work in confined spaces, attics, crawlspaces, and varying weather conditions.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Reliable transportation to and from work.
- Restoration experience or IICRC certifications are a plus but not required.
- Water mitigation or restoration experience
- Construction, demolition, or general labor background
- Experience using moisture meters and restoration equipment
- IICRC WRT certification (preferred but not required)
- Full-time
- 24 Hour Emergency Services
