Partnerships Broker

$70,000 – $75,000 per year + company vehicle

The Employment Partnerships Broker leads Lifeskills' employer engagement strategy across Christchruch by developing strong partnerships that create sustainable employment opportunities for participants. Working across Community Job Coaching and He Poutama Rangatahi the role develops relationships with employers, industry, government, education providers and community organisations to identify workforce opportunities and connect participants with meaningful employment pathways. The Employment Partnerships Broker is responsible for creating a sustainable pipeline of employment opportunities while supporting the Career Pathways team to achieve outstanding contract performance and employment outcomes.

• Develop and maintain strategic employer partnerships across Christchurch
• Identify workforce shortages and employment opportunities
• Build relationships with local businesses, industry groups and chambers of commerce
• Secure vacancies for participants
• Match participants with suitable vacancies and work closely with Career Pathways Navigators
• Coordinate recruitment activities and support interview arrangements
• Monitor employment trends and identify industries with workforce demand
• Share labour market insights with Navigators and develop employment pathway strategies
• Record employer engagement in SORT, maintain CRM and contribute to dashboard reporting
• Identify new employer engagement strategies and support continuous improvement

• Relationship management
• CRM experience
• Full NZ Driver Licence
• Desirable: MSD contract experience, labour market knowledge, procurement experience, understanding of Māori and Pacific employment, foundation knowledge of Te Tiriti o Waitangi and its practical application within community services
