- Schedule: The schedule is Monday through Friday from 11:30 am or 12:00 pm to 7:30 pm or 8:00 pm during the school year, with some flexibility on the start time. During the summer, the schedule is Monday through Friday from approximately 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, depending on the teen's camp and activity schedule. Additionally, a Candidate who can work approximately one to three overnights per month is highly preferred, but family is flexible.
- Children: 13 year old.
- Duties: The child-related duties include supervising teen, driving teen to and from school and activities, managing the teen's schedule via Google calendar, cooking for teen or coordinating with chef service to prepare meals for teen, and packing lunch and snacks for teen daily. Additional duties include walking two large dogs daily, scheduling and transporting pets to vet and groomer, general pet care, running household errands, grocery shopping, meal planning, coordinating and scheduling vendors, helping with laundry, and light tidying.
The Candidate will also collaborate with a part-time Family Assistant and Housekeeper to ensure that all tasks are taken care of and the home is running smoothly. - Requirements: A warm, busy family is seeking an exceptional Family Assistant to join their household team. The ideal Candidate is warm, kind, organized, proactive, resourceful, reliable, professional yet fun, and an excellent communicator. A Candidate who is tech savvy, genuinely enjoys working with teenagers, and loves pets will thrive in this role. The household is a warm, respectful, and collaborative environment, and the family looks forward to beginning a long-term relationship, for at least the next five years, with a excellent Candidate who can grow in their role.
Candidate must drive; the Candidate may use their own vehicle on the job, or the family can provide a vehicle for use while working. - Salary range: $45 - $50
- Benefits: This position offers paid vacation time, paid sick time, paid holidays, a monthly medical stipend, and guaranteed year-round pay. The family will be withholding taxes and using a payroll resource.
- Pets: Two friendly Bernedoodle dogs.
