Sign Language Interpreter (ASL) | Hillsborough, North Carolina

• Hold valid credentials, with a minimum EIPA score of 3.0
• Experience interpreting in educational or school environments preferred
• Proficient in American Sign Language (ASL)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to adapt to varying student needs and educational settings

• Interpret spoken and signed communication for students who are deaf or hard of hearing
• Facilitate clear and accurate communication between students, teachers, and staff
• Provide interpreting support during classroom instruction, school events, and extracurricular activities as required
• Work closely with staff to ensure full access to the curriculum and peer interactions
• Maintain ethical standards, confidentiality, and professionalism at all times
