Cell Tech Inc. is seeking dependable and detail-oriented Production & Assembly Worker to support technology deployment projects at K-12 school sites. This is a hands-on position involving the handling, organization, preparation, and packaging of laptops and other technology equipment.
This is a part-time, temporary position expected to last approximately 5-6 months. This is a hands-on physical job. The main work will involve assembling mobile carts/stands and carefully lifting and mounting large technology panels onto the carts. You will also help with unpacking, labeling, moving, and organizing equipment.
Key Responsibilities- Unbox and organize panels, carts, and other equipment.
- Assemble mobile carts/stands using basic tools.
- Carefully lift and place large panels onto the carts.
- Securely mount panels according to instructions.
- Print and apply asset tags and room labels.
- Help remove and package existing panels and carts.
- Move equipment to assigned staging or storage areas.
- Keep equipment organized and handle it carefully to prevent damage.
- Clean up boxes, packaging materials, and other project waste.
- Record serial numbers and other equipment information.
- Follow all safety instructions and project requirements.
- Help with other installation and material-handling tasks as needed.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous warehouse, assembly, installation, moving, or similar experience is a plus.
- Must be able to safely and carefully handle equipment weighing up to 100 lbs. with team assistance or proper lifting equipment when needed.
- Comfortable using basic hand tools.
- Able to stand, walk, bend, lift, and carry equipment for extended periods.
- Able to follow instructions and work safely.
- Good attention to detail.
- Reliable and comfortable working as part of a team.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.
- Must be available for the duration of the 5-6 month project.
Candidates must be available for the first two days of each workweek. The schedule for the remaining days will vary based on project needs and will be shared in advance.
Candidates who have a reliably commute to Greensboro, NC are preferred.
