Position: Nursing Assistant I (Full Time Days)- Medical Acute Care Unit - Hillsborough Campus
UNC Health - 460 Waterstone Drive - Responsibilities:
Provide routine direct and indirect patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse or physician.;
Assist physicians and other health care providers with routine examinations and procedures and with procurement of equipment and supplies during emergencies.;
Observe, collect, and document patient information and promptly report significant changes to a nurse or physician.;
Assist patients and families during admission, orientation, and discharge from the clinical area.;
Provide care/treatments per plan of care including vital signs, measurements, wound care, and activities of daily living.
