The Opportunity

As a Redeye Account Manager, you will be instrumental in driving physical sales revenue growth across our diverse music catalog, which includes vinyl records, CDs, cassettes, and other merchandise. This position requires direct engagement with a variety of partners, including independent record stores, e-commerce platforms, non-traditional and lifestyle retailers, and subscription services.

Your primary focus will be to cultivate and strengthen relationships within your designated account base, prioritizing customer satisfaction and loyalty. You will execute strategic sales and marketing plans designed to expand our market share, attract new customers, and consistently exceed sales goals.

The ideal candidate has proven music industry experience, particularly with Redeye-distributed artists and labels, coupled with a genuine passion for music. Success in this role hinges on a talent for building meaningful connections with both physical retailers and our label partners.

Duties/Responsibilities
  • Sales Execution:
    Develop and implement strategies to grow the account base and exceed revenue targets. Identify opportunities to expand sales within and beyond the current client base.
  • Account Management:
    Build and maintain relationships with assigned Redeye customers, meet sales targets, and enhance product placement. Manage orders to meet assigned deadlines, ensuring timely submission to Redeye’s warehouse for shipping.
  • Exclusive Releases:
    Coordinate exclusive product releases with key accounts to create tailored experiences, foster customer loyalty, and drive revenue growth.
  • Marketing Support:
    Execute targeted marketing initiatives to boost campaign performance and visibility, ensuring stock levels align with marketing plans.
  • Product Promotion:
    Promote new releases and catalog items using market insights to enhance in-store visibility and sales.
  • Customer Relationship Management:
    Develop and maintain robust, long-term customer relationships by understanding their needs and proposing solutions that align with Redeye's core values. Leverage effective sales strategies to identify and pursue new business opportunities and leads. Ensure all account contact information is kept current and accurate.

    Educate clients on product offerings, shipping timelines, and best practices for using Redeye proprietary B2B website.
  • Cross-Department

    Collaboration:

    Work with marketing, accounting, data & product operations, inventory, and logistics teams to support promotions and coordinate product.
