Household Assistant Castle, NI - Seasonal & Casual

We are looking for an enthusiastic Household Assistant to join the Castle & Collections Team. This is a dedicated group comprising of the Castle & Collections Manager, Household & Hospitality Team Leader, and Household Assistants, where you and the team take responsibility for carrying out housekeeping routines at Hillsborough Castle and Gardens.

You will take pride in maintaining the Household and delivering a 5-star experience to all guests, customers, and key stakeholders.

As well as a 16hr per week Seasonal role (April to end Sept 2026), we are looking to increase our pool of Casual zero-hours Household Assistants who work on an ad-hoc basis.

Within these roles, you will play an integral part in delivering a very broad range of household services, including (but not limited to):

• Presentation of State Rooms for public viewing
• Care and cleaning of a wide range of interesting and historic items and areas
• Cleaning and upkeep of public areas and office spaces
• Back-of-house housekeeping including laundry
• Overnight accommodation upkeep
• Event set-up including food and beverage provision

You will help ensure that Hillsborough Castle and its operations consistently meet the highest standards, while maintaining a strong customer-focused approach.
