Senior Superintendent - Federal Ground?

The Senior Superintendent oversees all field operations for ground?up federal construction projects across New Jersey. This role ensures strict compliance with federal standards, maintains project schedule and quality, and leads all subcontractors and field personnel from site mobilization through turnover.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead daily field operations on large federal ground?up projects.
• Enforce federal compliance requirements (FAR/DFARS, USACE EM 385?1?1).
• Manage site safety, quality control, inspections, and documentation.
• Coordinate subcontractors, sequencing, manpower, and installation quality.
• Maintain project schedules, logistics plans, and daily reporting.
• Interface with federal agencies, contracting officers, and third?party inspectors.
• Oversee commissioning, punch lists, and project closeout.

Required Experience &

Qualifications:

• 10-12 years of superintendent experience with a commercial GC.
• Proven experience delivering ground?up federal facilities (DoD, VA, DHS, USACE, GSA).
• Strong knowledge of federal safety and QC standards.
• Proficiency with Procore, Bluebeam, MS Project, and federal reporting platforms.
• OSHA 30 required; EM 385?1?1 preferred.
• Ability to pass federal background checks and meet clearance requirements.
