Job Title: Staff Accountant
Pay: $30–35an hour (based on experience)
Contract to Hire

Location: Hillside, IL (4 days onsite, 1 remote while on contract)
Environment: Manufacturing
- Prepare and maintain accurate general ledger accounts, journal entries, account reconciliations, and month-end close activities.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reporting.
- Perform monthly account reconciliations and investigate variances, discrepancies, and unusual transactions.
- Manage and analyze manufacturing-related accounting activities, including inventory, cost accounting, standard costs, and production variances.
- Assist with accounts payable, accounts receivable, fixed assets, accruals, and other accounting functions as needed.
- Analyze manufacturing costs, including labor, materials, overhead, and production expenses, to support financial reporting and business decisions.
