Dynamic Manufacturing, Inc. produces quality remanufactured automatic transmissions, transfer cases, and torque converters for a wide variety of consumer and commercial automotive applications. We are searching for a motivated problem solver with repair experience to join our team as a Warranty & Root Cause Technician. As a Warranty & Root Cause Technician, you will be responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and documenting all information regarding products that don't pass our rigorous testing procedures while working with other quality minded teams to improve our internal processes as needed.

Base

pay range

$19.00/hr - $22.75/hr

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair products that fail testing procedures
• Inspect and process products returned for warranty
• Consistently and accurately log all findings in the required databases
• Communicate findings with supervisor and/or production, engineering, and quality personnel as required
• Keep a clean, safe work area including all tools, test equipment, and computers
• Stay up to date regarding product and process changes
• Stay up to date with and follow all required safety guidelines and procedures

Qualifications

• High school Diploma or equivalent
• Trade or Technical School education preferred

Required Skills

• Knowledge and safe usage of basic hand tools including torque wrenches and pneumatic tools
• Basic computer knowledge and use (use of mouse and keyboard, operating systems functionality, and email)
• Ability to read, write, and communicate in English
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs without assistance as necessary
• Ability to work solo and be self-motivated
• Ability to read and follow work instructions, support documents, and technical manuals
• Ability to learn multiple work areas and move between those areas as work requires

Preferred Skills

• Bilingual (Spanish/English)
• Microsoft Office experience (Access and Excel specifically)
• Automotive/Machinery/Electronics repair experience
• Ability to read hydraulic and electrical diagrams
• Ability to use a multimeter or ohmmeter
• Ability to read and use measuring tools (calipers, dial indicators, micrometers, etc.)
• Previous automatic transmission repair experience
• Will train as necessary

Work Schedule

• 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM (1st Shift)
• Monday – Friday
