Dynamic Manufacturing, Inc. is seeking a hands‑on CNC Set‑Up Technician/Operator with experience in manufacturing technical skills to work in day‑to‑day production at one of Dynamic’s remanufacturing facilities. The ideal candidate understands a manufacturing environment, exhibits technical aptitude, and has experience with deep‑hole drilling.

• Select the appropriate tools, machines, and materials to prepare machinery work.
• Set up, adjust, and operate all basic machine tools and many specialized or advanced variation tools to perform precision machining operations.
• Align and secure holding fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, accessories, and materials onto machines.
• Calculate dimensions and tolerances using knowledge of mathematics and instruments such as micrometers, height stands, calipers, etc.
• Machine parts to specifications using machine tools such as lathes, milling machines.
• Measure, examine, and test completed units to detect defects and ensure conformance to specifications, using precision instruments such as micrometers.
• Monitor the feed and speed of machines during the machining process.
• Study sample parts, blueprints, drawings, and engineering information to determine methods and sequences of operations needed to fabricate products and determine product dimensions and tolerances.
• Observe and listen to operating machines or equipment to diagnose machine malfunctions and to determine need for adjustments or repairs.
• Check work pieces to ensure that they are properly lubricated and cooled.
• Position and fasten work pieces.
• Operate equipment to verify operational efficiency.
• Clean and lubricate machines, tools, and equipment to remove grease, rust, stains, and foreign matter.
• Advise clients about the materials being used for finished products.
• Confer with engineering, supervisory, and manufacturing personnel to exchange technical information.
• Work closely with Engineering and or cutting tool suppliers to continuously improve tool life.
• Design and create basic fixtures and tooling.
• Deep hole drilling experience.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to learn quickly.
• Commitment to continuous improvement through self‑education and company‑sponsored training.
• Follow instructions when given a project and take notes for personal growth.
• Willingness to enroll in a Tech/Trade School to expand upon Basic CNC.
• Recognize when there is a problem with operation/machine.
• Operate one or more CNC machines daily while maintaining all quality and safety requirements.
• Keep work areas neat, clean, and organized.
• Assist team leader, record production daily, identify and isolate non‑conforming product, load/unload machine safely.

• 3+ years of machining and/or manufacturing experience.
• Basic blueprint reading.
• Programming skills not limited to basic machine shop courses.
• Capable of lifting/pushing/pulling up to 30 pounds.
• Ability to stand, walk and reach with hands and arms for 8 hours or more.
• Willing and able to work overtime and as required.
• Willing to work any shift as necessary.
• Excellent communication of work instructions in English, verbally and written.
